Fife Housing Group secure new funding for affordable housing

14 August 2019

We are delighted to confirm that we have secured a new £65m funding package from the Royal Bank of Scotland in a deal which will allow us to refinance our current debt, increase investment in our housing stock and continue to build new, much-needed homes in Fife.

Having made significant improvements to our performance in key areas over the past five years, which we are now seeing reflected in customer satisfaction levels, this refinancing package will not only allow us to invest further in our current tenants’ homes but also help contribute to the delivery of upwards of 90 additional properties over the next two years.

Chief Executive, Nicki Donaldson, said: ‘We are delighted to have secured this funding from Royal Bank of Scotland, which gives us the opportunity to further the aspirations we have for the business, and we look forward to working with them to deliver the new homes required to meet the ever-increasing demand for affordable housing.’

David Horne, Relationship Manager at Royal Bank of Scotland, said: ‘Fife Housing Group plays an important role in tackling the affordable housing shortage in Scotland and Royal Bank of Scotland is proud to be able to support the business as it continues to create homes which are in such high demand.’
